Inspection Reports
ISI Routine Inspections 2023
Ruckleigh School was inspected by Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in November 2023 and we were delighted to get the best possible outcome.
While the framework no longer provides a qualitative judgement [ ie. ‘Excellent’, ‘Good’ etc] the report is extremely positive and notes that the school meets all regulatory requirements.
Highlights of the report include:
- Leaders provide a warm and supportive environment
- Leaders listen carefully to the views of the students
- Pupils are respectful of each other and understand the diverse society in which they live
- Pupils are provided with many opportunities for artistic expression….this is seen in the imaginative and high-quality art work on display
- Pupils achieve success in entrance and scholarship exams to senior schools with selective entrance requirements. In 2023 all pupils gained places at their choice of senior school with around a third of candidates achieving scholarships
The full report makes excellent reading and speaks, as all visitors do, to the maturity and diligence of our pupils and the commitment of all staff.
